Shirodhara

Shirodhara In this process lukewarm herbal oil (Ksheerabala oil) is poured in a special rhythmic style on to the forehead from a perforated earthen pot suspended above for 30 minutes.(15 minutes massage,30 minutes shirodhara).This treatment is done mainly for Insomnia, mental stress, nourishes and rejuvenates the nerves, increases blood circulation of the head and brain. It bestows better vision, better hearing, clears nasal problems and makes one cool and relaxed.

Pizhichil

In this treatment lukewarm medicated oil would be poured over the person's body in a special rhythmic manner (masseur soaks the linen in oil and squeezes it over the clients body.) by two masseurs for 45 -60 minutes. Pizhichil is also prescribed for healthy persons as a rejuvenate and preventive treatment. Indication: Spondylitis, Arthritis, Hemiplegia, Nervous disorders, Sexual weakness.

Navarakizhi

In this massage boiled Njavara rice (Boiled in Cow milk and decoction of sida chordifolia) would be held inside a small linen cloth bundle and it would be soaked inside the above said combination and massaged over the body by two Masseurs. (Done in seven positions). Indications: Emaciation of limbs, Rheumatism and joint pains.

Podikizhi

In this massage, medicated powder (kolakulathadi choornam) would be held inside a small linen cloth bundle and it would be soaked in warm medicated oil and massaged by two masseurs in a rhythmic motion. Indication: Spondilosis, Osteoarthritis, oedema, Hemiplegia.

Janu Vasti

The Janu means Knee joint and Vasti – means to hold (compartment which holds) Thus Janu Vasti means a treatment in which medicated oils are poured and pooled for a fixed duration of time in a compartment or a cabin constructed around the knee joint / joints using wet flour of black gram. In simple words, Janu Vasti is pain relieving oil-pooling treatment conducted for knee pain caused due to many causes

kativasthi

Specially prepared warm medicated oil is poured over the lower back and retained inside a herbal paste boundary for 30 minutes.

Indication : Back pain and Spinal disorders.

Greeva Vasti

The Greeva Vasti means a treatment in which medicated oils are poured and pooled for a fixed duration of time in a compartment or a cabin constructed over the neck or nape of the neck (back side of the neck) area using wet flour of black gram, covering the cervical region (nape of the neck / over the neck bones).

Uro Vasti

Like kativasthi specially prepared medicated oil (oil used is according to the ailment) is poured over the chest and retained inside a herbal paste boundary for 45 minutes. Indication : It is good for Asthma, heart disease and muscular chest pain. Gives strength to the thoracic part.

Shirovasti

Shirovasti is for the treatment of ear issues and Vata-based damage to the cranial nerves. For this, a leather sleeve placed on the shaven head of the patient is fixed in place with kneaded dough, and oil is poured continuously into it.

Uttara Vasti

Uttar Basti is an important Panchakarma procedure for the genito–urinary disorders of both, males and females. The therapy involves administration of a specific medicinal oil, ghrita or decoction into the urinary bladder or uterus.

In this procedure medicine is instilled in the Uterus in females per vagina or in the bladder in males and females per urethra. All aseptic precautions are followed.

Chiro Therapy

Takradhara

Takradhara is a sudation therapy with medicated butter milk in Ayurveda. It can be done either as Shirodhara (pouring the decoction over the head) or the dhara over the entire body. This treatment is effective in insomnia, chronic headaches like migraine, ear-nose diseases, neuropathy and spondylitis.

Udvartana

This is a special type of Ayurvedic massage done with a special herbal powder (kolakulathadi choornam, Vara choornam) in a rhythmic motion (Upward motion) by one or two masseurs. This massage is included in our slimming programme. Indication: Obesity. (Removal of excess fat).

Nasyam

Nasyam can be done in two ways. One way is doing panchakarma nasya treatment for 7 successive days starting from 2 or 4 drops and increasing the drops each day. Other way is dinacharya - daily routine of 2 drops in each nostril. Dinacharya Nasya can be done at home as per your doctor's instruction.

Thalam

Herbal powder made into a paste by mixing with medicated oils are applied on the scalp for a fixed time. Indication : Head ache, Myofascitis, Sleeplessness.

Netra Tarpana

In this treatment medicated oil, ghee or other medicines are poured into the eye and retained inside a herbal paste boundary.

Indication : Good treatment for all types of eye disorders.

Suvarnaprashan

Suvarnaprashan is a Ayurvedic Immunomodulatory Medicine Preparation for 0 to 12 years of child. Suvarnaprashan is made by Suvarna Bhasma (purified Gold Ash) and other important herbs. Suvarnaprashan are done in every Pushya Nakshatra for getting its excellent health benefits.
